Total Quality Management

Southern Controls takes pride and commitment in providing a Quality professional service, coupled with Quality testing and calibration to satisfy customer requirements each and every time.

To represent this commitment, Southern Controls have implemented and maintain a third party ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System to streamline and standardise processes, increase integrity and productivity whilst striving to continually improve the level of service throughout day to day operation in such a manner so as to benefit customers.

To ensure successful implementation of the certified Quality Management System; Southern Controls ensures all personnel conducting work relating to the service, testing and calibration of valves are familiar with the requirements of the Quality Management System and perform work in accordance with internal procedures and customer contract requirements.

Southern Controls promotes continual improvement and effectiveness of the Quality Management System through involvement of all personnel and customer feedback.


Quality Planning and Execution

Southern Controls, have adopted the approach of developing specific Quality Plans to suite customer specific requirements. Whilst both the Service teams in NSW and VIC maintain an overall Quality Manual, specific Quality Plans includes customer inspection and testing requirements, special service sub contractors, (i.e. coating, non destructive testing and third party inspection agencies) and any specific activity that shall be completed in order to satisfy customer purchase order requirements.

In addition to Quality Plans, Southern Controls have implemented the use of inspection and test plans to specifically identify step by step inspection and testing requirements for each work scope, whilst providing the opportunity for third party inspectors and customer witnessing and endorsement.

Continual Improvement

Southern Controls strives to work as A ‘Team’ with customers to ensure Quality and Safety is the key in work scope execution. Southern Controls are always determined to improve current processes and work practices to increase the level of product and service quality delivered to the customer.

At current the NSW Service division are working towards recognition of NATA accreditation for the testing and calibration of relief valves, details shall be published upon completion.
